How is the fabric sold?

By the metre, in whole metres. Pick how many metres you want in the quantity box. Up to 10m comes as one continuous length. Anything over 10m comes in more than one piece.

When will my order be sent?

Every order is cut by hand and checked before it leaves us. Orders are dispatched within 1 to 5 working days, and you'll get an email with tracking once it's on its way.

How much is delivery?

UK delivery is free on orders over £50. Under £50 it's worked out by weight at checkout, on a tracked service.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Yes, to all EU countries. Delivery is worked out by weight at checkout. Since Brexit, parcels from the UK to the EU may have import VAT and a small courier handling fee added on arrival. These are collected by your country's customs and the courier, not by us.

Can I return fabric?

Because fabric is cut specifically for your order, it can't be returned for a change of mind. If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo and your order number and we'll put it right with a replacement or refund. Ready-to-wear clothing can be returned within 14 days, unworn with tags on. Full details are in our refund policy.

Will the colour look exactly like the photo?

We photograph every fabric as true to life as we can, but screens and lighting vary, and there can be slight differences between batches. If you're matching something exactly, message us before you order.

Is there a discount for new customers?

Yes. Sign up to our emails on the site and you'll get £10 off your first order over £40.

How do I get in touch?

Email shop@veratexfabrics.com with your order number if it's about an order. We aim to reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
