Terms of service
These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from Veratex Fabrics ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Veratex Fabrics is a fabric and textile retailer based in Leicester, United Kingdom. Contact: shop.veratex@outlook.com.
2. Products
Fabric is sold by the metre and hand-cut to order; multiple metres are sent as one continuous length where possible. Colours and textures may vary slightly from how they appear on screen due to monitor settings, lighting and the natural nature of textiles. Slight variation between batches can occur and is not a fault. Measurements and weights are approximate.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We may update prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted. Payment is taken in full at checkout through our secure payment providers.
4. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only once we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel any order, including where an item is mispriced, out of stock, or where we suspect fraud.
5. Cancellations and returns
Cut-to-order fabric is exempt from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items are covered, and ready-to-wear clothing may be returned within 14 days unworn with tags. Digital downloads are non-refundable once accessed. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.
6. Intellectual property
Seamless design files are licensed, not sold; the licence you purchase sets out permitted use. You may not resell, share or redistribute the file itself. All website content, images and designs remain our property or that of our licensors.
7. Liability
We are not liable for the results of how our fabric or designs are used, cut or made up, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the value of that order.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
