Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These terms apply to all orders placed with Veratex Fabrics, based at 6 Oxendon Walk, Leicester, LE2 0SQ, United Kingdom. Contact: shop.veratex@outlook.com.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send order confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — including for suspected fraud, abuse, reseller activity, or pricing errors — and will refund any payment taken if we do.
Prices and payment
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken in full at checkout. Orders are not prepared or dispatched until payment clears.
Cut-to-order fabric
All fabric is cut to your specified length and cannot be cancelled or refunded for change of mind once cut. By ordering you confirm your measurements and selection are correct.
Delivery
Dispatch and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or customs. Risk passes to you on delivery. International customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
Delivery addresses
Orders are sent to the delivery address provided by the customer at checkout (including any address stored in your payment account, such as PayPal). It is the customer's responsibility to ensure this address is correct and complete before placing the order. We are not responsible, and cannot offer a refund or replacement, for orders that are delayed, lost, or delivered to the wrong place because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided.
If you notice an error in your address, contact us immediately at shop.veratex@outlook.com — we will do our best to correct it if your order has not yet been dispatched, but we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been cut or shipped.
Returns
Handled strictly in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy, including the 48-hour, photo-evidence, and uncut-fabric requirements. We cover return postage only where the fault was ours; otherwise return postage is the customer's responsibility.
Intellectual property
All designs, prints, patterns, artwork, photographs, text, and other content on this site are the property of Veratex Fabrics and are protected by copyright and design right. Our designs — including our seamless designs — may not be copied, reproduced, scanned, redistributed, resold, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Customers may make and sell finished garments produced from fabric purchased from us, but may not reproduce or resell the designs or artwork themselves.
Colour accuracy
Fabric colours may appear slightly different on screen depending on your device and settings. Minor variation between the on-screen image and the fabric received is normal and is not considered a fault.
Natural characteristics
Slubs, weave irregularities, and slight shade or batch variation are natural features of woven and natural-fibre fabrics such as linen and cotton, and are not defects.
Cutting tolerance
Fabric is cut by hand to your chosen length with a small tolerance. Minor variation of a few centimetres in your favour is normal and is not grounds for a claim.
Availability
All fabric is subject to availability. If an item sells out before your order is cut, we will contact you to arrange a substitute or a full refund.
Eligibility
By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 years old.
Acceptable use
Repeated unfounded claims, chargeback abuse, or abusive conduct towards us may result in refusal of future orders.
Liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
